A graduate student employee or fellow may continue health insurance coverage during disability or after termination of employment by paying for an extension of benefits through COBRA.
Your coverage ends on the exact day on which termination of employment occurs. Coverage for all dependents also ceases at that time, or when dependent status is lost.
Your dependent children will lose benefits coverage when they reach the limiting age of 26.
